Reach Out and Read Colorado helps serve children and families from around the world. Because we understand the power and importance of providing families with books in their native language, we offer books in more than 30 different languages to these children.
There is no better feeling than when you see the look of pure joy in the eyes of a child as they pull that book from the rack and realize that it is theirs to take it home. My own love of books has always brought me a deep sense of joy and to be able to give that joy to a child is a wonderful thing.
Reach Out and Read Colorado, an early literacy organization serving Colorado children since 1997, and its Board of Directors have named Patty Fontneau as new Chief Executive Officer. Her background as a senior executive in the Health Services industry, combined with a lifelong passion for education, will help further advance the mission of the organization.
