Can’t find a partner clinic in your neighborhood? Contact our Director of Programs Jessie Chase, or talk to your healthcare provider about joining the movement.

At Reach Out and Read Colorado, our partner clinics across the state are more than just normal doctor’s offices — they’re gateways to early literacy, connection and lifelong learning. When families bring their little ones to a participating pediatric offices for a well-child visit, the provider doesn’t only check growth and health, but they also engage children and caregivers in age-appropriate reading, guide parents with simple strategies for making reading aloud part of daily life, and prescribe a brand-new book to take home. In this way, literacy becomes an integral part to a child’s overall health.

Serving Children Across Colorado

Our network spans urban, suburban and rural corners of Colorado: more than 330 clinics serving children and families from across all 64 counties, providing hundreds of thousands of book and ‘prescriptions for reading’ each year.
