Jessie is a passionate educator and nonprofit professional with nine years of experience in education and literacy. Her motivation to ensure that all kids have a literacy foundation has been at the forefront of her work. She understands the difference a book can make and the power that comes from connecting with literature. These passions drive her efforts in program development and ensuring high fidelity in order to best serve the ones that matter most, children.
Originally from Oregon, Jessie graduated from Colorado State University and has called Colorado home ever since. Her college degrees include a BS in Journalism, BA in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy from University of Northern Colorado. Jessie thrives on collaborative and productive teams and prides herself in leading colleagues to serve Reach Out and Read Colorado’s mission.
