Gently Used Books
Gently used books are placed in waiting areas and exam rooms at Reach Out and Read Colorado clinics to create literacy-rich environments, and help build home libraries for patients and siblings of all ages. We are happy to accept new and gently-used children’s books abiding by the following guidelines:
- Be gently used (covers and pages intact, clean and unmarked pages)
- Age range: infants up to and including young adults
- No textbooks
- No used coloring or activity books
If you would like to donate children’s books in the Denver-area, please drop them off at our office at 1355 S Colorado Blvd- Suite 108 in Denver, Colorado (in the Empire Park office complex).
Other Ways To Give
Reach Out and Read Colorado is happy to accept donations in whatever method you prefer.
Monthly
Giving
Become a Literacy Leader.
Monthly giving is vital to our mission, providing a reliable source of support that enables us to plan effectively and sustain our programs throughout the year. By becoming a monthly donor, you help us make a lasting impact in our community and ensure that we can continue our important work.
Planned
Giving
Leave a legacy that inspires by including Reach Out and Read Colorado in your estate plan, ensuring our mission continues for generations to come. You can fund a bequest with cash, securities, or other assets, choosing a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or a residual balance. Your assets remain under your control during your lifetime, and charitable bequests are deductible, potentially reducing your federal estate tax.
Create a will or living trust for free or contact us to let us know of your bequest.
Donor-Advised Fund
Donor-advised funds are the fastest growing form of charitable donations and offer unique tax benefits. When you give through a DAF, you create steady funding for Colorado kids.

Stock
Gift
Reach Out and Read Colorado would be delighted to accept a gift of stock.
If you are interested in donating stock, please reach out to Amy Malik, Director of Development, and she will promptly respond with next steps regarding your donation.
Employer
Matches
Matching gifts can double, and sometimes triple, the impact of your gift.
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. If your employer offers matching gifts, request a matching gift form which is often available through your company’s human resources department.
CryptoCurrency Donation
Donating Bitcoin, Etherium, or other cryptocurrency is one of the most tax-efficient ways to support your favorite cause. Through a platform called The Giving Block, Reach Out and Read Colorado can accept most cryptocurrencies, and your coins are immediately transferred to US Dollars.
If you have questions or are interested in making another type of gift, please contact Amy Malik, Director of Development, at [email protected] or (619) 549-0504. Your support makes all the difference.
Become A
Social Impact Partner
Social Impact Partners are organizations and corporations who commit to support a specific clinic (or multiple clinics) for a minimum of one year, making a profound impact in preparing Colorado’s youngest children for long-term success. An Impact Partnership supports all site operations, materials, and training for the entire year, as well as access to Reach Out and Read Colorado staff as they help facilitate events for your employees. Your employees will have the opportunity to attend educational sessions, volunteer, host a book drive, or interact with local families, and your brand will increase its exposure and improve its social responsibility within your community.
