Gently used & New Book Donations
We accept book donations at our Denver office at 1355 S Colorado Blvd, Suite 108.
Books may be dropped off at our office at any time, but if you would like help unloading, please email or call Aria to schedule a drop-off.

Gently used books are a critical component of the Reach Out and Read model.
Gently used books are placed in waiting areas and exam rooms at Reach Out and Read Colorado partner medical offices to create literacy-rich environments. This reinforces the guidance given by the healthcare provider and helps build home libraries for patients and siblings of all ages.
Save children’s books from the landfill – give them a second life by donating books to Reach Out and Read Colorado instead!
“Last spring, we received a donation of children’s books from a local high school book drive. The student leader dropped them off at the clinic and as I was emptying the boxes onto the shelf in children’s waiting area at least 6 kids came over and pulled a book off the shelf to enjoy while they were waiting. Shortly after that 3 parents came over to read to their children. It was wonderful knowing that just a small upgrade really improved the experience of our patients.”

Donate Books
Reach Out and Read Colorado is happy to accept new and gently used children’s books at our Denver office abiding by the following guidelines:
- Be gently used (covers and pages intact, clean and unmarked pages)
- Books may be for the following age groups: infants up to and including young adults
- This includes board books, picture books, early chapter books and YA Novels
- No textbooks
- No used coloring or activity books
Organize a Book Drive
We are always looking for book drive hosts to collect new and gently used children’s books to benefit children and families throughout the state.
Book drives benefiting Reach Out and Read Colorado can be a great project for service clubs, schools, places of worship, youth groups, scout troops, companies, bar/bat-mitzvah projects, etc. Reach Out and Read Colorado has many resources available to help you promote your book drive such as posters, logos, etc.
Volunteer
