Thursday 7/11 – DANG Soft Serve 5:30-7:00pm* featuring local children’s book author Jessica Schneider

About the Author
Jessica Schneider is the owner and founder of Begin Again Books. She is an author and publisher, producing her own books and working with new authors to release books that children of all ages can enjoy. A book lover all her life, Jessica has been writing poems and stories since she was young, and finally decided to make it official once she became a parent. After reading many of the same books over and over again to her sons, she realized there is always room for more children’s books…especially ones that are fun for both kids and adults! Thursday 7/25 – Sweet Cooie’s Ice Cream 5:30-7:00pm* featuring local children’s book author John Morgridge

Thursday 8/8 – DANG Soft Serve 5:30-7:00pm* featuring local children’s book author Saki Tanaka

About the Author
Saki Tanaka is a Mexican-Japanese author-illustrator who grew up in different parts of the world. This transient upbringing made her foster friendships without a common language in imaginative ways; through gestured games, mimed plays, and drawings that transcended words and worlds to give her a sense of belonging. You can now find Saki in Denver, Colorado, inspired by aspen-inhabited mountains and vaporwave skies. When she’s not painting new portals to magical realms, she’s connecting with other dreamers through a shared affinity for synchronicities, tear-inducing guffaws, and spontaneous dance parties. She’d love to hear how you spark connections with kindred spirits. Visit her at sakitales.com and let her know!

*Storytimes will be at 5:30pm and again at 6:15pm
