Reach Out and Read Colorado is hosting the 2019 Reach Out and Read Colorado Statewide Conference on Monday, April 8th presented by Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora. The conference is a celebratory gathering of more than 150 advocates and health care professionals from throughout Colorado.
At the event, Reach Out and Read Colorado site coordinators, health care providers and community partners will join forces to initiate a powerful and necessary statewide dialogue on poverty, literacy, toxic stress syndrome, and current Colorado policy as it relates to education and health.
CEO + Founder at City Health Works
Manmeet founded City Health Works in 2013 to create a business case for neighborhood-based health coaching. City Health Works has become a national example of how to deploy locally hired care teams to improve health, reduce spending, and create rewarding jobs. Dr. Robert Needlman
Professor of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and director of the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
Dr. Robert Needlman is Professor of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and director of the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. As a fellow in DBP at Boston University he co-founded Reach Out and Read and published the first articles about clinic-based literacy promotion. He serves on the ROR National Board, and chairs Reach Out and Read Greater Cleveland.
