Enjoy breakfast for dinner with Reach Out and Read at Snooze on 7th and Colorado Blvd. The event will feature a guest appearance by local children’s author Lauren Kerstein, book giveaways, and a breakfast buffet provided by Snooze!

Dinner begins at 6, storytime begins at 6:45, and the buffet closes at 7:30.

Things to Know:
- Breakfast buffet will include sweet & savory breakfast favorites. There will be gluten-free, vegetarian, and some normal dinner options.
- Beverage options will include lattes, cappuccinos, juices, iced tea, coffee and water.
- PARKING: Free parking is available behind the restaurant – use any spot EXCEPT Anthony’s Pizza spots. There is also 2-hour street parking in the area.
- All donations made at the event will be tax deductible. You will receive a digital receipt for your tax records, unless you request for a physical letter to be mailed.
Don’t forget – We will be collecting gently-used children’s books at Snooze!
Feel free to bring any that are no longer being used in your home. We do ask that books are in good condition (covers and pages intact, clean and unmarked pages) and please no textbooks or coloring/activity books.

About Our Local Children’s Book Author
Lauren Kerstein is an author and psychotherapist. She is a Jersey girl at heart who lives in Colorado with her husband, their two dragons…er, daughters, and their rescue dogs. Lauren is the author of the Rosie the Dragon and Charlie picture book series (Illustrated by Nate Wragg/Two Lions). Her latest picture book, HOME FOR A WHILE (Illustrated by Natalia Moore/Magination Press) moved into shelves February 2, 2021.
Lauren also writes books in her field. Lauren is one of the founders of #ReVISIONweek, a judge with Rate Your Story, runs a critique business, and is a long-time member of 12×12 and SCBWI.
Her writing goals are simple. Read voraciously. Embrace feedback. Grow each day. Work hard. Be passionate. Write courageously. Touch children’s hearts.
